Effective date: [TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE LAUNCH]
This policy explains how Blackpoint Labs, the publisher of AimX, handles information through the AimX desktop application, this website, customer support email, and the AimX Discord community.
AimX is designed to operate locally. It does not send telemetry, analytics, crash reports, crosshair settings, saved presets, hotkey settings, monitor selections, or ADS input events to AimX servers.
Application settings are stored in local JSON files under the Electron
user-data directory, normally %APPDATA%\AimX on Windows.
This includes crosshair settings, saved crosshairs, hotkeys, ADS
preferences and delays, selected display identifier, startup
preference, and onboarding state.
When ADS hold-to-hide is enabled, AimX uses a global input hook to detect the configured key or mouse button. The hook is inactive when ADS hiding is disabled, except briefly while assigning an ADS input. Input events are used locally for this function and are not stored or transmitted by AimX.
AimX is distributed through Steam. The Steam build uses Steamworks to confirm that Steam is running, relaunch through Steam when necessary, and verify application ownership. AimX does not operate Steam's account, payment, or transaction systems.
Steam handles information under its own privacy terms. Review Valve's policies through the Steam website for details about Steam account and transaction processing.
The AimX website does not use marketing cookies, behavioral advertising, or first-party analytics. The site is built as static files and does not require an AimX account.
Hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare when the site is deployed there, may process routine request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the website. That processing is governed by the provider's terms and privacy practices.
The Support page includes an official Discord server widget. Loading that page allows Discord to receive routine connection and browser information under Discord's own privacy practices. The widget is not used for AimX analytics or advertising.
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, Discord account information, message content, screenshots, system details, and troubleshooting context. Do not send passwords, Steam credentials, payment card information, or unrelated personal files.
Discord and the email provider process information under their own policies. Discord messages may also be visible to participants according to the server channel and permissions used.
Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain support records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting support@aimx-app.com. Some information may be retained when required for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
You control the local AimX data on your PC. You can change or reset settings from the application and can remove local data by uninstalling AimX and deleting its remaining user-data folder, subject to Windows and Steam behavior.
For questions or requests about information supplied to AimX support, email support@aimx-app.com.
This policy may be updated when AimX features, support practices, hosting, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published.
